let's dive in together

Welcome! I'm glad you are on this search. Finding the right therapist can be a daunting process.

If you're motivated to explore your inner world, you've come to the right place.

I welcome creativity, humor, and collaboration as part of this work. We will also explore how systems of oppression affect our psyches and bodies. I see the job of a therapist as fiercely supporting and compassionately challenging when necessary. Together, we'll dive beneath the surface to uncover your patterns, emotional experience, and relational challenges, all done with care and at your own pace. This is why I choose to work long-term, as safety is a relationship that is developed over time. We will also develop tools so that you feel empowered and resourced. Therapy is an experiment– together we will try things out and find what works for you.

LGBTQIA+

As a queer therapist, I bring my own lived experience alongside years of working with queer and trans clients. Whether you're questioning your identity or exploring deeper facets, together we can make meaning of your experiences and the impacts of living in a queer body. As part of this work, I provide gender affirming therapy and coordinate care with medical professionals.

Teens

I spent my first years as a therapist working at a school-based site, as well as previously developing and facilitating art-based interventions at a special education program. It's an honor to accompany teens through such a wonderful yet challenging part of development. I'm consistently amazed at the creativity and resourcefulness that they bring to sessions. Through giving them the tools to understand their internal world and a place for self-expression, we can transmute what can often look like challenging behaviors. I value working closely with families while also providing a sense of privacy and agency for the teen.

Brainspotting

Brainspotting is a great technique for processing trauma. It was developed from EMDR, using specific gazing spots instead of bilateral movement. It differs from talk therapy as it uses your own neurological and somatic wisdom to release experiences and symptoms often unreachable by the conscious mind. It's ideal for targeting both acute and complex trauma.
